Rainbow Swimming Pool Services — Insured & Bonded

Call (855) 623-1744 or send the form and we schedule a site visit in Rainbow, usually within a couple of days. You get a written, itemized free estimate with materials and scope spelled out — no verbal ballpark, no pressure, and no charge whether you hire us or not. Se habla español.

We also serve Julian, CA and the rest of North San Diego County. Everything starts at the Escondido Pool Builders homepage.

Escondido Pool Builders covers the same range of work in Rainbow that we do in Escondido — nothing is carved out because the address is a few miles up the road:

• LED Pool Lighting — LED pool lighting in Escondido is less a decor upgrade than a scheduling one. From late June through September the middle of the day is too hot to enjoy a backyard, and the pool earns its keep between seven and eleven at night.
• Pool Automation & Smart Controls — Automation earns its money in Escondido by deciding when things run, not by putting a pool on a phone. SDG&E's expensive hours land in the late afternoon and evening, which is exactly where a mechanical timer set once at installation tends to leave the pump.
• Pool Heaters & Heat Pumps — Pool heater installation in Escondido is a decision about the utility bill first and the equipment second. Two things set this valley apart from the beach towns west of here: SDG&E charges more per kilowatt-hour than almost any utility in the country, and our dry inland air sheds heat overnight at a rate people find hard to believe.
• Variable-Speed Pumps & Filtration — The circulation pump is the largest electrical load in most Escondido backyards, and on SDG&E rates it is the one piece of pool equipment whose running cost a household actually notices. That makes pump selection a utility decision more than a plumbing one.
• Saltwater Chlorination Systems — Saltwater chlorination works well in Escondido, and it is a comfort purchase rather than a savings one. We would rather you buy it knowing that.
• Pool Leak Detection & Crack Repair — Before we sell a leak test in Escondido we ask for a bucket test, and a fair number of calls end right there. Dry inland air, an afternoon of wind and unfiltered sun can take a quarter inch off a pool in a day with nothing wrong with it, and a Santa Ana week takes visibly more.

Rainbow sits in San Diego County with a population of roughly 1,800, close enough to Escondido that crews move between the two constantly. Local landmarks and corridors residents know well include Interstate 15, Rainbow Valley.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. Rainbow properties share soil, weather, permit rules and construction eras with the rest of San Diego County, and a pool contractor who works the area weekly already knows what fails locally and what holds up. That is the difference between a bid and an accurate bid.
