Julian Swimming Pool Services — Insured & Bonded

Call (855) 623-1744 or send the form and we schedule a site visit in Julian, usually within a couple of days. You get a written, itemized free estimate with materials and scope spelled out — no verbal ballpark, no pressure, and no charge whether you hire us or not. Se habla español.

We also serve Lakeside, CA and the rest of North San Diego County. Everything starts at the Escondido Pool Builders homepage.

Escondido Pool Builders covers the same range of work in Julian that we do in Escondido — nothing is carved out because the address is a few miles up the road:

• Weekly Pool Cleaning & Maintenance — Weekly pool service in this valley is a water chemistry job with some cleaning attached, and anyone selling it purely as skimming and tablets is going to hand you a scale problem eventually. Two local forces set the work.
• Green Pool Cleanup & Acid Washing — A green pool is a filtration problem and a money problem, and which one we solve first depends on how far it has gone. If the water is green but you can still see the bottom, recovery in place is almost always cheaper.
• Pool Safety Fences & Covers — California asks for two independent drowning-prevention features on a pool that is new or being permitted, and lets you choose them from a list. The choosing is where people go wrong.
• Pool Demolition & Removal — Pool removal in Escondido is priced by access before it is priced by the pool. Getting an excavator and a run of haul trucks to a backyard on a grade above the valley can mean going through a side yard, protecting a driveway that was never built for it, or lifting over the house with a crane.
• Gunite & Shotcrete Pool Construction — What a gunite pool costs in Escondido is largely decided in the first week, before any steel is tied. This valley sits on decomposed granite with boulders in it, and the gap between a dig that yields to a machine and one that needs a rock hammer is the widest single variable on the job.
• Pool Remodeling & Renovation — Most remodels we are called to in Escondido are on pools built between the late seventies and the early nineties, and the interior finish is rarely the real problem. The equipment pad is.

Julian sits in San Diego County with a population of roughly 1,500, close enough to Escondido that crews move between the two constantly. Local landmarks and corridors residents know well include State Route 78, the Cuyamaca Mountains.

Local knowledge is not a marketing line here. Julian properties share soil, weather, permit rules and construction eras with the rest of San Diego County, and a pool contractor who works the area weekly already knows what fails locally and what holds up. That is the difference between a bid and an accurate bid.
